About the Artist
JAKE POWELL
All of the art on this site is done solely by hand with a standard "bic" round stic med black ballpoint pen.
They are completely unauthorized by neither the subjects reprsented, nor the photographers who took the photographs on which these pieces are based (some more loosely than others).
Each piece takes approximately 2-3 weeks start to finish.
All of the work is done by Jake Powell. Jake studied photography, art & design at the University of Illinois in Chicago, as well as some formal training at the International Academy of Art & Design in Chicago. Currently all of his work is done in his spare time at work and at home.
